It seems like Huawei needs a real competitive advantage for its phones!! A TPM based smartphone with Wave software could just be the competitive advantage that Huawei is looking for!! Apple phones don’t use TPM chips because apparently Apple doesn’t want them or isn’t a part of the TCG!! So if the U.S. doesn’t want the TPM and Wave competitive advantage in smartphones then why not open this up to Huawei!! FSD with Tesla is a disruptive technology that the U.S allowed China to use so why can’t a disruptive technology like Wave and the TPM be used in Chinese smartphones?? Or is this disruptive technology just going to be opened up to benefit the World’s security?? Samsung should be doing it now and has a lead with Wave that might be hard to catch up to and doesn’t everyone want a trusted phone?!
