It’s a fact that Toutain left the company and joined PDS Biotech. They announced it through a PR. In most small companies, the COO is the number 2 executive. Toutain’s departure to another company with the same job title and responsibilities does not speak well for Missling or Anavex. It’s hard to see how he would have left now when, according to the WGTers, Anavex is on the cusp of EMA approval and the launch of the world’s first trillion dollar drug. I suspect that after 6 years of Missling’s fumbles, stumbles, and general incompetence plus the collapse of the stock price, he got fed up and wanted a change.
