Cool, it is nice to say something on this board and not get completely insulted. I really can't speak much to what will happen or how, my main point is that none of these big companies has any reason to treat VPLM seriously until there is at least a threat that they are at risk. It would appear that the possibility of getting into court, and all of the uncertainty that involves, is what will make deals come to pass. From my personal experience, I would have to think that most everyone's hope is that this doesn't end up in court with everyone's fortunes depending on a binary verdict, that is almost guaranteed to be appealed. That is really all I can say. There are likely hundreds of permutations of how this could come down given all of the players, court cases, and varying outcomes that are possible with each. Clearly though, having valid patents, a good case, a good legal team and a great team of negotiators would seem to portend some kind of favorable outcome. Here's to that happening soon.
