It's possible that this stock is "dead" and also possible that they scammed and lied.. But I have said it before and I will say it again I see nothing suggesting that they sold any shares along the way. If it were an outright scam like you seem to say then I would imagine we would have seen dilution and selling of shares.. This is not the case here. That said I would much sooner think that they may have run into some unexpected problems and or they are just in limbo as far as what type of business model they are going to pursue. Press releases (along with videos and public appearances and articles) indicated and suggested that they were involved in or looking into a few different business models. .
If you remember they tried to change the ticker and name a while back. They ran into delays and I think (going off of memory here) they said that they decided to cancel the name and ticker change because of the delays in that process and instead decided to move forward and I think the reason for the delays were summed up as having to do with someone not returning shares after being ordered to do so.. Perhaps when they originally bought this ticker they didn't have a full understanding of what they were getting? Who knows .. but we all know that they had issues with the name change process and they mentioned the above as their reason for opting out of the name/ticker change...
I think what we are looking at here is more likely that they failed to launch a successful business model in the allotted time according to the new rules and probably just opted to continue on with their business pursuits while basically not keeping up to date with their filings thus letting EGOC slip into the expert market.. "possibly" until such time that they settle into a business model that can be prosperous and then we might see them move forward. Just a theory that I have. But like Hugie stated I know nothing lol. This theory I believe makes more sense than saying they scammed us.. Let's face the facts they did not sell any shares along the way (and especially at the peak price a couple of years ago ) and that doesn't quite fit the scam scenario at all.. correct me if I am wrong here please!
To Sum it all up I personally will hold out and hold onto my shares and wait and see what happens. Obviously this is not the best possible scenario having EGOC go to the expert market but it is what it is.. It's not the end of the world and in fact some here have already said in their posts that it might be the best thing to happen as it starts the process of maybe someone else coming into EGOC and making it work.. (assuming that the current owners are not going to make it work and I still believe that they might turn this ship around in time)
At least we know where EGOC stands now but it would be awesome to find out all of the specifics as to why they did not follow through with their stated goals and then went silent on their filing obligations. I really wish that they would address the shareholders in a press release or something but not holding my breath on that one.
Personally I don't see any need to chime in unless something pops up. If I find something interesting I will post it. I have plenty of time to ride this out. I still have all of my shares for those of you that think otherwise (Hugie) and like I have said before I am a long term investor. The last stock that I sold was about 4 years ago and I held that stock for over 12 years (it definitely was not EGOC) I know I know... most people today buy a stock and sell it 10 minutes later and then buy it again while slamming down sugar filled super gulp coffees. Not my gig lol
At any rate I was really hopeful that EGOC would have met this final deadline with the grace period and needless to say I am a little disappointed that they did not meet the deadline!!! In the same breath I am not shocked as they have been silent for a while now. The stock market ,,,, It's always a gamble..
I will check back in once in a while especially if I come across anything interesting to throw out there about EGOC. I wish everyone here the very best going forward and I still hope that EGOC will get up , throw those leg braces away and run like Forest Gump and more importantly follow through with their stated lofty goals.
