Does this mean that Microsoft is going to finally stand behind TPMs and SEDs and their activation as the TCG (and Microsoft is part of the TCG) promotes TPMs over HSMs which Microsoft promoted in its Secure Future Iniative?? Is Microsoft going to push for Trusted Computing or take short cuts and not think outside the box that TC could be better for security and the bottom line in the long run. So much emphasis on building data centers and the cloud is going to burn holes in Microsoft’s pockets and be a Huge target for hackers!! Microsoft’s brand needs to have a better brand with Wave security!!! Bill Gates wanted ‘trustworthy’ computing back in 2002. Now look at what Microsoft accomplished with security in the last 10 years without Wave!! Pretty sad Microsoft!!!
