I believe shareholders would be thrilled to get $10-$12 right now if it was offered.

Nope--the shareholders who continue to hold will do so pending the outcome of the filing of the MAA. I makes no zero sense, and it would be quite stupid, to ride this stock down from $15 and then sell at $3. or less, without (1) the European application story having played itself out and (2) some clarity about how the FDA views the final data, and the results of the ongoing open label study. Nothing has changed about the underlying fundamental over the past year except for the Rett EXCELLENCE trial failure, which indeed was a serious setback and the CHMP agreement for AVXL to move ahead with an MAA with the good news that the centralized procedure will be used.
