The GOP is obviously split- Pro Russia and Anti Russia. I think this is something that the D's should exploit as much as possible. One, it will help our elections chances and two, it could allow for more actual work getting done via bipartisan votes. Trump, being totally pro Putin, may find himself losing support in the house and possibly even in his base. A lot of those damn Crackers (I'm from TN, I can say that) are pro Trump, but also pro USA,
