Fidelity closed my account and refuses to give any reason. Why??
Official Response
I opened 2 Fidelity accounts (Fidelity Investment Account & Fidelity Cash Management) in September. I have account numbers, username, and password for both.

It took many hours but I was able to chat with Fidelity representative. After extensive questioning of the representative, he stated the account was opened and one day later it was closed by Fidelity. I asked why the account was closed. The representative said he did not know. After further questioning, the representative said he knew why it was closed but would not tell me why - not could not tell but would not tell me. I gave up.

Now, it is October. In the week Oct 10 through Oct 16 I received an Account statement from Fidelity showing the Fidelity Account & Fidelity Cash Management open and unfunded.

I just finished a phone call with a Fidelity representative discussing this. He said he has been at Fidelity for 6 years and has never encountered anything similar. He said that Fidelity refused to do business with me but could not give any reason for the refusal.

Why would Fidelity refuse to tell me why they will not do business with me? If there were incorrect information somewhere, I would like to correct it. Refusal to disclose why worries me.
