It's 100% true CJ, almost everyday I get scam calls from people with a heavy Asian accent, most are from Philippines...you can tell it's a scam right away cuz you can hear all the yapping in the boiler room background, there are literally thousands of locations in Asia where they set up and call USA all day long looking for Info like your CC # or take your computer hostage, it only happens on my landline that I have had the same number for for decades so it's in all the Cole calling books the telemarketers use
