Complete nonsense from beginning to end. There are no “big boyz”. There are index funds that track the Russell 2000 that own AVXL. That’s it. There is not a single actively managed biotech fund big or small that owns AVXL.

Index funds don’t put pressure on stocks to drive them down so they can accumulate more shares. This betrays a complete lack of understanding of what index funds are or how they operate. This is all conspiratorial baloney.

As for the stock going to $1.50 a share, I doubt the stock will trade below cash per share.

At the current price, Anavex would be extremely vulnerable IF any company thought there was anything of value to buy.
