I'd argue that these so called edge cases are more frequent than this author believes. The reason for this is people who report on forums represent a small number of overall users and thus each complaint represents more than 1 incident. Granted users of Teslas are more apt to post about their experieces but they still only represent a small percent of all users experience. Another we do not know in regards to FSD is how many interventions are made. The higher the number the longer it means for FSD to ever be ready for robotaxing. There's going to be a large uptake in driver interventions this year now that Tesla is pushing FSD on all potential end users.
