As an old friend of mine (W. Edwards Deming) would often say..."The first step in solving a problem is recognizing that one exists." .IMO, Dr. M. is very capable of doing what is needed to be done ... BUT, he just does not see what we(and others) see.

IMO, Dr. M sees AVXL as a leadership technology-scientific organization which is performing incredible positive technical work (he is right), continuously proving the science and the Med-truth. IMO, from his perspective, he is absolutely correct about that . AVXL is a world class CNS leadership highest technology firm. Sadly , the WS-BP world has a different set of metrics-values and time lines. One would think that after 50+ years of following-chasing the wrong thing w/FDA controls dictating good news vs not good news a better set of metrics would have evolved for defining value in CNS diseases. A lot of very smart people (WS-BP-other) have allowed themselves to get rat holed and are not able to see(recognize& value) AVXL as a solution. It is very sad but IMO, we are on the right train but it is seeen as not moving yet????.
