While Tesla says in the fine print that you shouldn’t use its self-driving without oversight, the novelty upon which it’s sold implies that you can. “There’s so many incentives toward bullshit, right?” he says, “toward overclaiming what your technology can do.

Overclaiming what your tech can do and then shift the blame to the operator for not following the fine print while making the operator believe through hype and hyperbole that they do not need to follow the fine print. Then when you dont follow the fine print and the tech kills you or someone else you are either dead or worse get charged for manslaughter along with a possible destroyed life coupled with the guilt of having killed someone. See why death is the better of the two?

What constitutes a fake it until you make it scam?

it was arguably a referendum on “fake it till you make it” practices, such as intentionally overstating, and thereby misrepresenting, a fledgling company’s current capabilities, success, or profitability, while banking on the notion that its aspirations will eventually follow the desired trajectory and become a reality.

Tesla = Fake it Until it Makes it SCAM!

Could it be that there is a strategy to distract people away from looking at the basic data?
Is all this an exercise to create more and more forum verbiage to drown out any serious discussion of evidence?
