Not really. Just is not true.

One can easily find instances of drug announcements being made by a company prior to the semi-montjly update by MHRA.

For example, Casgevy (the sickle cell gene therapy from CRSPR and Vertex) was granted on Nov 15,2023. It was PR'd by the 16th but updated on the end on Nov.

Or see this from GSK.. Approved on Jul 10 2023. PR on July 10 2023. On list published mid July.

The only reason there are not hundreds to easily find is that few bother to PR UK approvals.
