unfortunately many of science's most important advances have faced market reluctance due to competing entities already accepted.

Missling keeps talking about filing one though, even aggressively so a couple of years ago. Until one is actually filed, accepted, reviewed and potentially approved the Anavex science won't see any market acceptance - do you find that strange or unreasonable in any way?
