yes I agree. Baseball and Soccer lower cost. Even Golf is not that bad when they are really young. 12-16 My kid played $500 a year used a junior set then my old clubs - didnt care about clubs or expensive balls. Just 4 hours hanging with his buddies BUT the difference is when I was a kid I was golf orphan - No parents at the club, His highlight was wings and fries after golf on my bar account LOL. drop kid off pick up 5 hours later.

Hockey was once a blue collar person sport - not now and if you are on an AAA or AA team get ready for trips and hotels and fundraisers and shenanigans on the road ( marriage break ups) lol athough that happens in all sports. My neighbor busted up two marriages and a business plus his own nose with an indiscretion with another Swim team mom.
