Don't understand why everyone is always talking about shorts. AMRN averages about 14 million short shares on a monthly basis which is about 3.5% of the total shares outstanding.
I don't really think this justifies or accounts for the share price to be that low, this opinion really does not hold any water. Just browse all the small to medium range Pharma stocks and most of them have much higher short %.
On the other hand, the fact that AMRN has a relatively low % of Institutional holdings ( 25%) does definitely affect the way the stock price is moving.
