How about admitting that marrying any stock is a bad idea?

Blind loyalty in a changing world does not make too much sense.

The long term does not mean always it's a sure thing. Such dependence is too high a risk. Sounder advice would be creating a balanced portfolio where no one stock can cause financial hardship should plans or dreams fail to realize. Loyalty should be for one's own good first when it comes to security in finances, health and wellbeing in my opinion.

Circumstances and life changes. We are in a changing world.

Thinking and remaining flexible is needed for life itself and important matters are needed for one's wellbeing and living comfortably.

Even today I was happy to have changed my portfolio 6-8 months ago how Tesla and Musk were doing poorly causing me to take a serious step of re-balancing my portfolio and reduced my shares to half and stopped thinking about the long term. The great days of the jumping of the price have become a history in my opinion. Even now after a long fall from the $413 area are regarded as over valued by most. I am glad this feeling made me buy other stocks like google, amazon, nvidia, arm holdings, etc. to balance my port. Investing in individual stocks following others in loyalty come what may is a poor approach. And I am concerned for anybody who has placed most or all of their funds in Tesla only calling it for the long term. Hopefully a miracle happens for them. GLTY
