I get it is early, but yesterday, the debacle known as Joey wendle who I ripped for being in the lineup before the game started in a game you needed to win (Not a 2nd guess), makes an era that costs them any chance at the game. Why this guy was signed by your gm is an act of stupidity (Couldn't stand the signing). Why Harrision I look at my feet bader was signed for 10.5 m, another act of stupidity by the gm.

The problem is not that it is 0-4, it is 0-4 against the tigers and brewers for them to have any shot at the 3rd wc they have to win games against the brewers and tigers, these rosters are mediocre at best. Meanwhile Lindor and Nimmo who are 1-2 in the lineup are hitting 063 a piece. 063. Jeff mcniel who for some reason was hitting cleanup most of these games, because the manager has no clue to make a lineup out correctly is hitting 083, Now these guys will hit, and it is only 4 games, but there lack of quality play now is gonna cost them, they have the braves soon how many of those are they winning. You can't fall 7-8 or 10 games under .500 early this team will never see .500 again if that happens, so people can say it is early that works if your the houston Astros who start 0-4, but have a track record, and a roster that at least to the eye tells me they are gonna win 95-100 games, they can make that up. But a team that has mid 80's potential if everything goes right, can't go out and dig themselves a huge hole early against the tigers and brewers and expect to get away with it. I get Lindor and Nimmo will hit, I really do. But if they start hitting after they are 8 or 10 games under .500 it isn't gonna matter at that point, because this team will probably never see .500 again. They can't let this streak get much worse, they really can't, I know it's early but I'm sorry you can't lose 4 in a row to these teams, and have the braves coming up soon and expect to get away with much more. So early days yes, but it won't be early for long if you dig a whole too deep. My question is how many games under .500 will they be after the braves series if the answer is 7 or more the season might allready be over by then in my opinion. I think they are much better than they have played, but it won't matter, if they bury themselves before they start playing better. So not buying it's early for them this stretch of 5 game left before the braves at minimum they need 3 wins in my opinion.

---All above is just my humble opinion.
And I could always be wrong.
And as always do your own DD.---
