Just for the sake of argument, let’s say this was a scam. When it is all used up it would be sold to recoup the initial investment. That is just common sense. If one of my other investments does really well near term and I believe it will, I will buy more just for my future lottery play. My average is low but a solid average down with money I don’t need is a pretty good investment as long as time is not the issue.
