Thing is yes the Yanks aren't going 162-0. they will lose at least 60 or so games. But we knew this team was improved. Not shocked to see Volpe take a step. I always Liked Clarke Scmidht. Cortes and Rondon by accident have to be better than last year. Verdugo is a solid player, which is more than I can say what they would putting out there last year in LF both offensively and defensively. Of course adding soto is huge, he is an amazing player. Stroman is a solid add to the rotation as well. Add all that up it is a mid 90's win team conservatively. Think about this before these adds was there a chance of them starting 5-0 when judge is hitting 143 over that stretch, which to be fair is more than Double Lindor and Nimmo at the moment. I'm not a big fan of the GM of the yanks for all his past mistakes, but the way he built this team isn't one of them in my opinion.
