Ok Joe, with all due respect even though I think NVIDIA chips that cost thousands of dollars and are going to end up being a rip off, but you have had experience with the TPM and sound smart! Question: when are you going to get Wave back and when do you ever plan to activate TPMs or are you going to spend precious time with AI and quantum computing?? There are 2 billion + TPMs out there!! Do you like Microsoft’s strategy to use HSMs when TPMs are already built in and can be activated by Wave?? Is the TCG going to get its members to activate their TPMs and SEDs? I hope the TCG isnt going to drag this TPM and SED activation process out as this is what the TCG has its strong foundation on!! The world doesn’t need the TCG to spin its wheels anymore, it needs Wave again and to do what it’s intended purpose was: help promote the USE of Trusted Computing for security for the world which ACTUALLY works!! At least that’s my take.
Trusted Computing is a paradigm shifting set of standards that need to be put into action and a LOT of the existing cybersecurity out in the market just doesn’t cut it!!!
