Seeing that name surfaced in a search (link of “study” posted in this thread)…took the opportunity to clarify “study” vs “clinical trial” terminology.
Both terms bandied about erroneously on the forum vs the clinical trials .gov link definitions posted in this thread. This “Preliminary Study” is an “Interventional Study” which by .gov definition is a Clinical Trial showing reduced narcotic usage via BIEL’s product usage after a surgical procedure.
All relative to the NOPAIN Act/CMS Insurance reimbursement of 1/2025 and the spur to more robust clinical trials.
