I had a patient with an eye problem...When I asked him to list the meds he was taking, he failed to mention aspirin...since he didn't consider aspirin a medicine...I found out later that he had been taking 30 aspirins a day... He died soon after I saw him(no sign of a bleeding disorder in the eye)... After his death, the autopsy showed the cause of death was a severe pulmonary hemorrhage....I could have save his life if he had just mentioned his intake of aspirins.

Aspirin, in large quantities, can be dangerous!
