Truth Social’s parent company will replace Digital World Acquisition Corp. on the Nasdaq stock exchange and trade under the ticker DJT, Trump’s initials. The parent company, called Trump Media & Technology Group, completed a merger with Digital World, a shell company that was already listed.
Shares of Digital World were snapped up by Trump’s supporters in a social-media buying frenzy.
