My 'past' cardiologist when I asked him about Vascepa commented that it was expensive. His PA, which I saw more frequently was a big fan of V as her husband was on it and had great results. I now have a different cardiologist (I moved 25 miles, (Houston) and he is okay with V. I don't have a requirement for V but I always ask to see what their knowledge is. From my experience, it is a hurdle of educating the doctors.
