The person who inherits Joe's stock does not automatically get to be the next CEO. The stock confers voting rights so that shareholder can vote for members of the Board of Directors, but ultimately the Board gets to hire and fire the CEO.

Not that IVDN's board is a functioning board of directors in any real sense of the term...
