I think this year the major oil/gas companies/countries will finally discover Plug Power as the biggest hydrogen equipment company with proven technology.
When in 2022 the big hydrogen projects were announced, companies preferred electrolyzers from the well-known industrial conglomerates for their projects. These companies have done big projects together before.
Now they realize that most of the electrolyzers lack long duration testing and are not reliable for industrial (renewable energy) usage.
In the past there was a very limited demand for electrolyzers. Mostly cheap alkaline electrolyzers were used.
Only spacecrafts and submarines could afford expensive PEM electrolyzers. For them the price was not an issue, only reliability mattered.
