I was searching the iHub for references on the Stirling Engine(for use in cars) and found your message from 2001 on IT by Dean Kamen.
What happened to it?
By the way, the expression
(T1-T2)/T1
is not the formula for the Stirling engine but the formula for the hypothetical Carnot Cycle Efficiency. This is the theoretical efficiency limit for any Heat--> Power process. The Stirling Efficiency(a real process) is lower because it contains irreversible heat transfer processes.
Anyway. I though that two years later you may have an update reference for me on IT.
