re: EXCELLENCE pediatric trial Question re: OLE. From this Anavex statement. OLE RETT CANADA This Excerpt: “Today there is no specific treatment for Rett syndrome available in Canada and the Ontario Rett Syndrome Association (O.R.S.A.) is pleased to see Health Canada has just granted several investigators’ requests to access for this study drug that may be beneficial to their patients,” commented Sabrina Millson, President of the Ontario Rett Syndrome Association."
So I am sure that Anavex is keeping track of these patients. From my reading of this article Canada SAP has approved for Physicians to request 2-73 for their patients who were not part of the original test. If these extended patients are continuing to see improvement would not that info be considered for approval? As to the Safety side of 2-73 this has never been a problem that I know of in any of the tests. So what say you the rest of our boards readers?
