I think under UL2200, “functionality” is tested, if I recall. Just send UL a letter, a proffer, a public comment, asking/reminding them. They will respond.

The application submission to UL could be checked in a few weeks to validate the submission claims. ASTRA will need to deliver 1 each, working models of their 3 systems. This testing will take a few weeks/months, given the scale and ramifications of this device, in my opinion. UL will quickly determine if the HES works as advertised, or are the readings merely incorrectly indicating the reactive power from the capacitor banks, as some here have pointed out that may or may not be correct. Without a published wiring diagram, it’s impossible from what is publicly shown, to determine.
