Wade - GERN - I think you are paranoid which is nothing new. You've admitted it yourself. Imetelstat is marginally beneficial at best and it doesn't take great expertise to see that. Evaluating it is in the realm of Biostatistics which all the ADCOM members understand . Hunter gets 1 vote if any. So what ? Emory is a prestigious university that gets tiny compensation for this study. 0 to $50k per year ? That's miniscule. And Hunter wouldn't want to tarnish his reputation by voting against an effective drug. The data is all in the public realm. Loads of biotech experts can review it.

If Imetelstat were truly a wonder drug it would have been FDA approved 2 decades ago when Geron did their initial studies. The fact is that it's a failed drug that Geron management is desperately seeking a use for so they can keep their highly paid jobs. You are naive not to recognize that.
