I've been through a similar situation.

Weirdly enough, when I first purchased NWBO in 2020 it was in a TFSA (through Questrade). It was already on the OTC at that point so I'm not sure why it allowed me to buy it. Then, I forget when, I get an email one day informing me that I was holding a non registered security in my TFSA and that I would have to transfer it to my cash account. So, since then, I've been holding it there and hoping that one day I could transfer it back. I also spoke with someone at some point regarding the regulated exchanges in Germany, but to be honest I don't remember what the conclusion was (if there even was one). All I know is that we will likely have to uplist before we can again hold NWBO in our TFSA. If you find another solution please let me know!
