So you accept the word of a 5-fake degree fraud google-geo? It's on you, pal.

Can't tell what the rig is - it's inside the drill shack, but NPLH has mostly Marcotte HTM2500 rigs a great Quebecois rig similar to the old LY38 but more modern. It should comfortably drill a 2,000m+ long hole with NQ rods, and NQ or NQ2 is pretty much the standard core diameter used in exploration drilling, though you might pre-collar with HW depending on the overburden.

I doubt these clowns are going to drill deeper than they have to, they just want to get a sniff and a few PR's out of this. The zone should be visually identifiable (alteration +/- qz veining +/- py) and it's only 2.6 meters width (on average). They'll likely just drill through the zone plus a few runs (10m or so) into the footwall rock (the "shut-down rock"), but yeah, as long as the core looks good they would keep the hole going (if they've got any brains).

What are they actually going to drill? Your guess is as good as mine. If I had to put one drill hole into this POS, I wouldn't try to just duplicate one of the historical holes (guaranteed to get something) as that doesn't advance the project any, just confirms what the predecessors hit (but good for a pseudo-positive PR or two). I would step down-plunge a ways and see if it continues or gets better (fatter, higher-grade) down-plunge, which would be more meaningful from an exploration perspective. Kill it or turn it into something better. A 300m long hole would do it. i could plan the hole for you but it would cost you....

Eggster doin' some deep drilling...
