If you can find it, you ought to watch Episode 6 of American Greed. It's where 18,000 Christians lost $500 million dollars to a scammer who claimed an Inspiration From God (Greater Ministries International of Florida). Double your money in only 17 months, help build new churches. Wow. The founder was adament to the very end, getting a 27 year sentence for fraud. Many of the supporters, also, adament to the very end, that it was the FBI that was at fault, everything was going great until Greater Ministries was shut down by the evil Feds.
If you watch the episode, you will see the devastation the elderly faithful faced in losing their retirements.
ZNOG with it's 25,000 Christians losing $250 millions isn't quite there, yet. If you are so inclined, you can still make a little money in it, before the collapse. But those so inclined, beware, you too could end up the victim.
In recent memory, two pumpers that used to post here proclaimed their faith in God by mentioning their entire retirements were in ZNOG. That was back when this was $1 a share or so, not too long ago. They no longer post here.
One guy I looked up from years ago on another board said he was the East coast handyman, going by the name of Def_of_Zion (he posted a work website). He put a major portion of his retirement into ZNOG. I checked his handyman website recently, and he's still doing high ladder work (with his son) well into his 70s. He lost it all, or shall we say, 99% of it. The other thing I noted on his website was he deleted all (several pages) of his End of the World prophetic Biblical references. I wish the son of Def_of_Zion would come online one of these days, and tell you what he really thinks of Zion Oil and Gas, and what they preach.

If you question the 25,000 people invested, that is a conservative estimate based on 4 years worth of investment data Zion's marketing director Andrew Summey mentioned in his previous public Resume on Linkedin. It most likely is more like 50,000 people have been sucked into this. The $250 million in losses figure is mostly from Zion's Edgar filings.
I think it's time for me to take a sabatical. Good luck to all, but to those who want to pump ZNOG, please consider the damage that might be done to the feeble minded and elderly that can ill afford to lose.
