DEI and ESG are BOTH misguided, counterproductive policies IMHO. The Private Sector has a handle on what works and is effective. Even without these policies, the US has been effectively reducing our "Carbon Footprint" over the past couple of decades.

On the DEI topic, it seems that some people get preference, whether they are qualified or not, just for the sake of "Equity" IMHO. I have a problem with that. Nobody ever gave me a "Participation Trophy". It was always based upon "MERIT".

I'm convinced that Lightwave qualifies for CHIPS funds, but they don't need it and they probably don't want to deal with the "Strings Attached".

I need to step off of my soapbox now. I hear the alarm going off in the nuclear reactor thingy in my kitchen. Apparently Dinner is Ready LOL!
