I've driven myself to the ER several times - with left shoulder dislocations, broken foot, torn rotator cuffs (both arms - separate times), and the nosebleed. And each time other than the nosebleed, in a stick-shift - when my left foot was busted (Jones fracture at the tuberosity) I used my right foot for clutch work.
It's quicker to just drive yourself from where I live in NorCal.
