My IRA account is the only one have to do a certain sequence. If I try to put in a buy order without the cash available, the system will not take it. So all I have to do is set up a MOC order first for SGOV and then I can put in buy orders until I run out of money that the sell would generate. I am sure if I tried to cancel the SGOV order, the system would not let me as long as the buy orders were still there.

For the margin accounts, I can put in the SGOV in any order I want, but I just keep with doing the SGOV order first.

For Schwab, setting up a MOC order is easy. I just set up the standard order as a "market" order and it comes up "day". I then click on the tab by "day" and change to "close". My orders always execute at the closing price that will be reported for the day. For CS, MOC orders have to be in my 3:40 and any orders in by that time cannot be cancelled. I don't think TDA has such a limitation.

I am making so much money on SGOV and SWVXX this year I can't believe it. Remember if I am fully invested at 125%, that only takes 41.7% of my money. 58.3% is earning interest. When I am pulling back, that number just goes up.

I have two IRA accounts at Edward Jones that are my "bond" money. My advisor has been buying CD's for many months now, but I got tired of all the tracking and delays when one CD paid off until he got around to buying a replacement. And he has to call me before he can do anything to get my okay. EJ also has a money market mutual fund and as the CD's come due he is just buying MMF. The MMF and CD rates were about the same, but I will generate more money with out big chunks of money being out of the market for a period when CD's payout.
