juenke, transformers have been a concern in the US for a number of years now. before the AI topic compounded the issue. Most US transformers were coming from China. Trump banned the import of Chinese transformers out of National Security concerns. The concern being, that they might give China the capability of shutting the grid down. More recently, concerns about our shipping ports has come to light.

Gotta check out for a bit now, to recharge my EV with electricity powered by Natural Gas... LOL!
