This is all I've used for about 40 years.....
The use of a steel will keep them sharp and well shaped longer. (don't forget to clean it)
My knives may go through the edger/sharpener once a year.
I do have a bench grinder that I use on badly damaged knives.

Buying quality stocks is the best get-rich-slow scheme. It’s not sexy as a get-rich-quick scheme,

Remember........ It's better to wish you had bought a
