The uniforms weren't broken until MLB and Fanatics decided to break them.

Fanatics is not making them instead of Majestic which is owned by Fanatics.

So it looks like Fanatics is delivering a cheaper product for both the players and fans.

The Yankee away jerseys is a good example by eliminating the piping on the sleeve.
