As of 2023 NICE told me:

it is important to note that we can only appraise drugs that have a marketing authorisation for the treatment of a particular indication or are expected to receive one during our appraisal process, and can only issue final guidance on drugs that have a marketing authorisation.



I do not expect this will take long but some on this forum seem to think the UK are not in a rush to act on behalf of terminal brain cancer patients despite DCVax receiving the first PIM designation as well as hundreds getting the vaccine under Specials.
