Methinks, this post related to why Trust at the Edge with Wave would be less hard on the electric grid than all these data centers that are going to use AI AND Bitcoin mining? Our country and the world could have less targeted (the cloud for cyber attacks), better security, less power consumption and keep older computers from going into landfills by turning on TPMs in Windows 7 computers and possiblly replacing the hard drive with a great SSD SED!! And use an encrypted 1TB external SSD instead of hoping that the cloud will protect your data!! Customers wouldn’t have to spend thousands on a computer with AI Co pilot that would require all kinds of complicated software updates. Seems like a no brainer to me!! Or if your computer is REALLY puttering out only then do you get a new computer!! Why waste a perfectly good old Window 7 computer. Sometimes the old ones are built better than the new ones!!!
