Now Nate was very careful not to fully admit there was another investor or two...

What? of course he wasn't. He's not one of those really rich activist shorts, though maybe one day he'll get there. When I worked for TheStreetSweeper, a group of people--I didn't, and don't, know who all of them were--were doing the shorting. And it often wasn't easy. Melissa Davis and I just wrote articles, and were free to say what we wanted. We took no position in anything.

So I should think Nate Anderson does invest, but he's not alone.

You have not made some kind of discovery. That's how it works.

Given the difficulty of shorting the Indian market, how did Nate figure out a go around? Well let's just say he did.

Let's not. He says the short position was not taken in the Indian markets. In case you've forgotten, this is it:

We hold short positions in Adani Group Companies through U.S.-traded bonds and non-Indian-traded derivatives, along with other non-Indian-traded reference securities.

I think that's quite clear. Did Hindenburg have any sources with political connections? I have no idea, but it's possible. However--and this is important--they would have checked out the allegations they made.

And since you're so interested, Hindenburg had a new report out today:
