The exploration and exploitation of lithium in Chile is regulated by the Constitution of the Republic and by Article 8 of the Mining Code of 1983.

These regulations have limited to the extreme the concessions granted to private entities to work this mineral in national territory.

Today, and with the National Lithium Strategy, we expect to see greater openness to the private sector with respect to the exploitation of this valuable resource.
