I have spent much time in conference directly w/Roche in Basel as a third party on a mission(s). I would never disclose what was discussed. I would suggest...Roche are very good at what they do.

My thought is, if they are actually reducing staff ($$$) it may be b/c they see a new resource (AVXL) whose technology obviates the need for some technology currently in their own product/technology portfolio. Just a guess-thought process to be aware of. (IMO)They REALLY ARE THAT GOOD.
