Be sure to fully consider "effect size" in the placebo arm. It will help your understanding of the regulatory challenge presented by our Excellence results. I suspect you and others believe subtracting the placebo scores from the dosed scores would effectively yield a stat-sig net drug effect, and that if the trial had a larger n then the top line would have been stat-sig. These intuitions would be false.
