So I strongly believe that the supplier that has been allocated the development and supply of Flaskworks is Miltenyi Biotech.

Here are the reasons I beleive they are the supplier:

1) The very same day the Flaskworks PR came out, one of Miltenyi Biotech's Clinical Account Managers Enabling Cell Therapy Advancements from Benchtop Research to GMP-Compliant Clinical Manufacturing - one Jiarui Wang - posted this on her Linkedin, which talks about personalised dendritic cell vaccines and actually goes as far as mentioning Northwest Bio in a list of companies/institutions involved in this field: "Northwest Biotherapeutics created a DCVax platform to treat a wide range of solid tumour cancers."

Was this merely a coincidence that arguably the market leader in cell separation equipment, who already manufacture equipment and reagents related to dendritic cell processing, made this post the very same day as the Flaskworks PR? I doubt it

2) The Kozbial paper here shows that Flaskworks/NWBO were already using Miltenyi reagents for Monocyltes/DCs such as this oneback before 2018.

3) Miltenyi already manufacture The CliniMACS® Plus System, from which "Clinical-scale separations are available for a variety of cells, including hematopoietic stem cells, monocytes, DCs, NK cells, B cells, and T cell subsets.". So one imagines they would already be high on the list of NWBO's comapnies to potentially work with. A cursory Google of companies manufacturing this sort of equipment suggests that there are very few in this field specifically involved in DCs. Other names besides Miltenyi include ThermoFisher and Namocell.

4) I replied to Jiarui's post, thanking her for it, indicating my own exitement for DCVax and making this same speculation that Miltenyi could be the nominated supplier of Flaskworks, and she simply replied with the following: "Looking forward to having more patients benefit from this innovation!", which although not a direct confirmation would IMO - reading between the lines - suggest that yes they are indeed involved.

Given their position in the cell separation equipment market I believe this is extremely positive news for the rapid completion and certification of Flaskworks. They already have similar equipment for DCs separation; they have numerous pieces of equipment across their range that are GMP certified and I imagine quite a lot of existing components which meet GMP compliance that can be used directly for Flaskworks. Therefore, one imagines a company with this level of existing expertise will be able to finish Flaskworks rapidly and effectively for onward certification.
