What does holding the bag mean? If by holding the bag they mean stuck in a position that can't get out of then they are wrong. They can get out by giving their shares to their brokerage for nothing. Then they aren't holding any bag (shares). Nobody is forced to hold crgp. Cut bait if you can't handle the ride.
