Some here were, are investors in Interdigital, who’s sole business model is patent licensing. Through that ownership and many varying patents litigations we were educated about patent enforcement.

Interdigital’s patent licensing is different from Lightwave ‘s in that they were enforcing standard essential patents, and as far as I know, Lightwave’s are all proprietary.

The one very big thing they have in common is if you want your patents to be found valid and infringed, your claim construction better be worded very precisely.

Some on this board don’t seem to understand what a STAR we have in Dr. Lebby. This post as to his scientific and photonic patent expertise, together with his Masters in Business Administration, and his overall acceptance by his peers as a leader in photonics make him the perfect person to be driving Lightwave to success. Some here think we would be better off without him as CEO. How stupid is that, there is NO ONE out there that is better.
